English court has a discretion to refuse enforcement in eight cases only:（a）if a party to the arbitration agreement was under an incapacity by his personal law; （b）if the arbitration agreement was invalid under the law to which the parties submitted it; （c）if the defendant was not given proper notice of the appointment of the arbitrator or of the proceedings or was otherwise unable to present his case; （d）if the award was outside the scope of the agreement; （e）if the composition of the tribunal or the procedure was not in accordance with the agreement,or if there was no agreement as to these matters by the law of the country where the arbitration took place; （f）if the award is not yet binding or has been set aside or suspended by a competent authority of the country in which,or under the law of which,it was made; （g）if the award is in respect of a matter which is not capable of settlement by arbitration; or（h）if enforcement would be contrary to public policy.
