　　raise最常用的有：
　　1.move or lift sth to a hight position,place or level 举起,使升高
　　例：Can you raise your arm above your head?
　　你能把胳膊抬过头顶吗?
　　这个常用搭配有raise one's hand/eyebrows/voice etc.
　　2.to increase an amount,number or level增加,提高（数量、数字或水平）
　　例：We have no plans to raise taxes at present.
　　目前我们没有提高税收的计划
　　3.to look after your children and help them grow 抚养
　　这个就常用raise one's child,和bring up意思一样
　　rise常用这几个：
　　1.to increase in number,amount or value （在数值、量或价值方面）增加
　　例：House prices are likely to rise towards the end of this year.
　　今年年底房价可能会上涨.
　　这个和raise的区别就在于,rise是东西或价格自己升高时用,而raise是人为提高某物的价格、费用或数额时用.
　　2.to go upwards or to appear in the sky
